Who we are

McArthur Earthworks was formed in 2013 by Adam McArthur and his wife, Kim. After a successful career in the housing, mining and civil industries Adam had a desire to move home to the Shoalhaven to raise his family. McArthur Earthworks has gained the accreditations, qualifications and the qualified staff and machinery to commence and build an earthworks company with a strong reputation of providing a high quality professional service. We work with a variety of Tier 1 companies building the NBN network on the South Coast of NSW including civil works and telecommunications. We also do a variety of works for the public and pride ourselves on delivering an efficient and highly skilled service to complete all jobs on time and in budget.

Our Team

Adam McArthur
Owner and Director

After a solid career in business management Adam transitioned into the housing, mining and civil industries, mainly in the Hunter Valley region of NSW. Planning a family and wanting to move home to Nowra, Adam and his wife Kim registered their company in 2013 which has operated in the Shoalhaven ever since. 

Kim Ellings
Owner and administration

With a marketing, advertising and business management background, Kim was well placed to support Adam in running his own business. Kim spends her days organising our recruiting, payroll, insurances, liasing with all stakeholders, doing the bookkeeping and running around after two toddlers and two teenagers.

John McArthur​​
​Site Supervisor

With over 45 years experience in the building and construction industry it is an honour to have Adam's dad work with us. John has been the role model for Adam's work ethic and has taught him many of the skills he has. John has built hundreds of homes and moved on to managing major building projects in Sydney before returning to the Shoalhaven in 2014 to work with his son.
